Pin Loom Woven Cardinal

November 18 2-4 pm at Outlying Acres Fiber Farm
See what the fuss is about with the fun craft of pin loom squares. These are 4”x4” squares which are warped by wrapping layers and then weaving a final layer together. The patterns and creations are only limited by your creativity! This is different than the potholder looms you may remember from your childhood (different loom and weaving type). We will create a cardinal from the square. All materials are supplied. $20 per participant fee

Soap Felting Workshop
December 1
10-11:30 a.m. at Outlying Acres Fiber Farm

Learn the easy and fun craft of wet-felting! We will be using locally made soap and fiber from animals at Outlying Acres Fiber Farm to create felted soap bars. The fiber acts as a natural exfoliant and wash cloth, is naturally anti-microbial, and helps your soap last longer! Participants will felt two bars of soap in this workshop. These make an excellent hand-made gift! Already know how? Leave the preparation and mess to us and join in the fun! All materials are supplied.
$20 per participant fee

Tri-Loom Woven Neck Piece Workshop
December 8 12-2 at Outlying Acres Fiber Farm

Using a small triangle loom and continuous strand weaving (the warp and weft are the same strand), you will create your own unique neck piece. Weaving and finishing will be completed in this workshop. All materials are supplied.
$25 per participant fee

Pin Loom Woven Tree ornament
December 14 6-8 pm at Outlying Acres Fiber Farm

See what the fuss is about with the fun craft of pin loom squares. These are 4”x4” squares which are warped by wrapping layers and then weaving a final layer together. The patterns and creations are only limited by your creativity! This is different than the potholder looms you may remember from your childhood (different loom and weaving type).
